Results of the 14Day World Parrot Refuge...

The endless hours and months of my anticipation are over. Finally all of the sales reports from iTunes are in and we know exactly how much money we were able to raise for the World Parrot Refuge (WPR). If you recollect, from January 16th and 30th (2012) myself and fellow Canadian song writer Sora launched a world wide donation event. On any given day you’d find Wendy Huntbatch and Horst Neumann within wingspan of their parrots. Taking the birds to work with them and home again at night was a cherished routine. In 1993 a robbery abruptly ended that when 4 of their six birds were stolen. “One of them I’d actually hatched out of the eggshell myself.”, recalls Wendy. Super Surprise

When I woke up at 5:30 AM on October 15th I had no idea that a long time dream was only hours away. I did know that we had to get to the airport for a 7:30 flight, but I didn’t know where the flight was going to.
