It all started September 28th 2007 at my 3rd floor apartment in Calgary. I’d wanted to do a radio show for years, but didn’t quite know how to make that happen. Then the idea of a podcast came to me, I figured it should be simple to do because it didn’t involve the need for an actual radio station. So one night I decided to just sit down and record a show on my computer as an experiment. I didn’t have a special recording program, mic or a soundproof space, but the mood struck me and I went with it.
I’ve recorded a number of shows but have never broadcast one until now January 9th 2012. Nearly five years – that’s a long time to develop a project – and finally I’m airing an edition of my Vocal Vibes Podcast. Now technically it may not be a ‘podcast’ but given the rudimentary techniques I’ve used to record the show, I’m not going to let technicalities stop me now.
Sending really big thank yous and hugs to Jennifer at Design de Plume for her wizardry and assistance in getting the SoundCloud player sorted out.
So, ta da! Here for your listening pleasure is Vocal Vibes….

Hi Cindy
Just listened to your talk with Wendy at the World Parrot Refuge. It was very interesting and informative.; It is incredible and so very fortunate that we have people like Wendy. It is heartbreaking to think of what would have happened to all those birds without the refuge. Wendy, keep up the wonderful work and Cindy, thank you for making us aware of the World Parrot Refuge. I am sure that there are many people out there like myself that had never heard about the Parrot Refuge. Best of Luck in raising funds for these wonderful birds.

Hi Cindy,
Life is slowly coming back into my body after the toxic infusion on Wednesday !!! I have not done much at all except feel really yukky. However – it is the last time so I have a life to look forward to.
I will check out YouTube pretty quick.
Thank you for everything. Wendy…
